인공지능의 핵심은 “일관성”이다. 이는 인간과 가장 크게 차이나는 부분이다. 인간은 모든 일에 매우 뛰어난 능력을 가지고 있다. 다만 일관성이 부족할 뿐이다. 같은 일이라도 사람마다 성과 차이가 나며, 같은 사람이라도 언제 어디서 어떤 기분으로 하느냐에 따라 차이가 크다. 인공지능은 이러한 면에서 인간보다 일관성이 뛰어나다. 의사결정에 있어 일관성은 매우 중요하다. 성능이 좋지 않더라도 일관성이 있으면 개선의 여지가 있다. 문제는 어떤 때는 잘하다가도, 어떤 때는 잘 못하는 것이다. 일관성이 없으면 올바른 의사결정을 내리기 매우 어렵다. 우리가 인공지능을 도입하려는 주된 이유다.

Consistency is very important when it comes to decision-making. Even if your performance is not great, consistency gives you room to improve. The problem is that sometimes we do well and sometimes we do not. Without consistency, it's very difficult to make the right decisions. This is the main reason why we want to adopt AI.
